The Imposters started out as a cover band (hence the name) in Northern California, always putting their own twist on songs, but quickly transforming into a deeper more expressive band writing songs about personal life and experiences. Their influences range from Fleetwood Mac Tyler Childers to Katie Pruitt and The Civil Wars.
Their roots come from singing and playing in the church and ventured out into playing for the masses. Kristen, the lead singer, has been singing her entire life with her most influential experiences being an African gospel choir she was a part of in college. "I learned how to sing by ear, how to sing with passion, and how to be true to herself."
Justin Eubanks grew up in Colorado, in a house full of guitars and with some family friends who happened to be accomplished songwriters and bluegrass pickers. They left an impression from an early age. After picking up the guitar as a child, he moved on to mandolin, fiddle, & pedal steel and never looked back, writing songs along the way. After spending the last chapter of his life writing and performing around Oregon and the Northwest, he now calls Truckee home.

Sean Hodge has quickly turned into one of our favorites at The Pink House. Known regionally as “Hodgie”, Sean has a charming, easy way about him that brings the listener into his world of exquisite guitar work over his disarming Jerry Garcia-esque vocals and vibe. Sean plays with a variety of local and regional artists and we are lucky to have him here with us. He is also one of Ike’s favorite guys to sit in with on fiddle at The Pink House. If you can catch Hodgie, it’s in your favor.

Joel Ackerson (vocals/guitar/mandolin) and Justin McMahon (vocals/guitar) have been playing music together for over twenty years. Six years back they joined up with close friend Kevin Brunet (vocals/bass). Last year, noticing a local shortage of 90s music, the trio decided it was time to unapologetically bask in the nostalgia of their favorite musical decade. Their live shows have been known to prompt full-venue sing-alongs and spontaneous dancing. From Alanis Morissette (of course) to STP, Dave Matthews Band to Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers to TLC, they’ve got you covered. They love the nineties as much as you do and they want you to come bask with them!

American singer-songwriter Jaime Saso was born to ramble. He's played Flamenco guitar in the caves of Granada, tasted the East's musical offerings, and while trekking in the Himalayas, found his voice as a songwriter and began to hone the craft he'd always dabbled in. Saso builds upon a foundation of Americana, Blues, Rock, and Pop, with cues from classic songwriters, but influenced in sound and melody by a diverse gamut of composers and instrumentalists.

We, at The Pink House get it: Our service industry friends get the shaft almost every single day in their jobs. It’s hard when it seems that constant disrespect by entitled customers, is part of our job. The hours are long, the pay can be crappy, and feet are killing us! We’d like to lend a hand, a tasty snack, and a stiff drink to all of our brothers and sisters in the “Industry” on Tuesdays (ALL DAY). All you need to do is to bring in proof of employment and we’ll knock 50% off all pizzas. We’ll also serve you $5 Old Fashions, $5 Frenet (the bartenders handshake), and $5 Dos Equis draft beers while you’re here relaxing in a supportive, understanding environment, complete with free popcorn. So come on in on Tuesdays, kick up your feet, and let us take care of you. You deserve it.
